Geddes Automotive is an exhaust shop. Leaking exhaust & muffler repairs, replacement exhausts & mufflers, full exhausts & cheap exhausts.

A cheap exhaust repair is a weld or a welded patch.

Our staff are very competent welders. If you have a leak exhaust, we carry large stock of replacement exhaust mufflers & pipes & full exhaust systems.

We can sell you the parts or install exhaust parts for you for petrol & diesel exhausts.

We carry aftermarket exhaust silencers, resonators exhaust rear, mid and front.

MANIFOLD EXHAUSTS

If you have an exhaust manifold leak, it is usually because the exhaust manifold has warped and the gaskets are damaged and are leaking exhaust gases. Sometimes they warp so much they stress and break the studs.

We have the equipment to extract broken studs and machine manifolds for exhausts. Some vehicles are more prone than others for this problem.

CHEAP EXHAUST REPAIRS:

So long as there is some steel to weld to we will be able to do this for you.

We can advise you the approximate time a weld will last.

Sometimes the seams of the tube rust but the steel either side of the seem is sufficiently strong and can be successfully welded.

Mufflers sometimes get stress cracks and the steel is OK around the crack. Welding these is usually successful.

COSTS TO WELD AN EXHAUST RUST HOLE:

A simple weld only will cost from $45 + GST

A more complicated weld and brace will range from $65.50 + GST

COSTS TO REPLACE PART OF AN EXHAUST PIPE SECTION:

To bend and fit a short piece of exhaust pipe only will cost from $65 + GST

To bend and fit section of exhaust pipe only will cost from $85.50 + GST

COSTS TO REPLACE AN EXHAUST MUFFLER:

A small muffler only fitted will cost from $125 + GST

Larger mufflers only fitted will cost from $175.00 + GST
