1) JAMMED CAR SEATBELT RETRACTOR (Jammed car seatbelt adjuster).Just because your seatbelt is jammed and the seatbelt is not retracting won‘t pull out does not mean it is broken and you need to replace the seatbelt retractor. We are often able to repair this problem. Our specialist seatbelt technicians will need to remove the retractor (seatbelt adjuster) for inspection. 2) BROKEN CAR SEATBELT RETRACTOR OR SEATBELT CLIP. (Broken car seatbelt adjuster, seatbelt stalk or seatbelt buckle).If the truck, van or car seat belt retractor or car seatbelt clip (seatbelt stalk or buckle) is broken, then they will need to be replaced with a second hand or a new seatbelt. 3) NEW SEATBELTS OR SEATBELTS CLIP.
The truck, van or car seat belts clip (seatbelt stalk) usually comes with the new seatbelt. Most are reasonably easy to fit but with some, the seat has to be removed to fit the car seatbelts clip.
We carry a range of new truck, van & car seatbelt retractors (car seat belt adjusters) and car seat belt clips in stock. We are a seat belts part specialist.
4) SECOND HAND SEATBELTS & CAR SEATBELTS CLIPS.
We do not carry second hand car seatbelt clips or seatbelts in stock. See the information we require under the heading “Geddes Require The Following Information To Advise You ” below.
Our email system is linked to our database of car, van, & truck seat belts part specialists wreckers. So long as we have all the information the wreckers require, we can send out emails to all the wreckers who may have a belt you require. Once we locate the seatbelt and the car seat belt clips you require we can provide you with a price.

6) GEDDES REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION TO ADVISE YOU.
We recommend you ring providing us with the make, model, year, chassis number and colour of belt, and then we can give a closer estimate on seatbelt replacement costs.
If the truck, van or car seatbelt is mounted inside the seat frame, then we may need to remove the seat and upholstery to fit this type of seatbelt. Fitting this type of replacement seatbelt will usually take longer and cost extra to install. When discussing your autos seat belt tell us if yours is this type.
To quote a replacement cost for you we often have to remove the covers and check the numbers on the seatbelt. Give us a call and arrange an appointment.

We are seat belt installers so can do the complete refurbishment and seat belt installation. You can freight just the seat belt to us and we can advise you of the options for repair. Depending on the type turnaround will usually be between 1.5 and 48 hours.
