CONDITIONS TO BE PROVIDED A FREE COURTESY CAR:

(Loan Car)

If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636-7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you, (Geddes do provide courtesy cars to under 25yrs but at Geddes' sole discretion and you may be required to pay a deposit);

The work agreed to:

Is in excess of $200.00 + GST;

and

Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete;

and

Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle;

and

You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle during the next 48 hours;

and

You provide suitable proof of your home address;

You sign the vehicle loan agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the courtesy vehicle;

You replace the fuel used.

Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the courtesy car.

Free Courtesy cars require pre-booking. To book you will be required to pay a deposit of $25.00; that $25.00 will be credited towards your vehicles repair.

CONDITIONS FOR $12 PER DAY COURTESY CAR

IF THE WORK AGREED TO ON YOUR VEHICLE IS LESS THAN $200 + GST:

If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636-7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you;

The work agreed to:

Is less than $200.00 + GST and Geddes management agree to provide the $12/day courtesy car;

and

Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete;

and

Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle;

and

You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle during the next 48 hours;

and

You provide suitable proof of your home address;

You sign the courtesy car agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the courtesy vehicle;

You replace the fuel used.

Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the $12/day courtesy car.

Courtesy cars require pre-booking. For repair work costing less than $200 + GST; cost $12.00 per day. To book you may be required to pay a deposit of $25.00.

CONDITIONS FOR GEDDES (636-7064) TO PROVIDE A FREE TAXI RIDE:

This service is also available to drivers under 25 years;

If Geddes cannot complete the repairs within a reasonable time;

and

The job will not be completed within 1.5 hours of the time booked;

and

The customer is prepared to leave the vehicle with Geddes for at least 24 hours;

and

The work agreed to:

Is higher in retail value than $150 + GST, then Geddes will pay for a taxi provided by Geddes one-way to the customers home or place of work to a value of $12.50;

or

4 b.

Is higher in retail value than $250 + GST, then Geddes will pay for a taxi provided by Geddes to a value of $12.50 to go to the customers home or place of work. Geddes may pay for another taxi from the customers home or place of work back to Geddes, to a value of $12.50.

CONDITIONS TO BE PROVIDED A COURTESY VAN:(Loan Van)

If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636-7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you. You may be required to pay a deposit;

The work agreed to:

Is in excess of $200.00 + GST;

and

Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete;

and

Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle;

and

You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle during the next 48 hours;

and

You provide suitable proof of your home & business address;

You sign the vehicle loan agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the van;

You replace the fuel used, check the water & oil daily and top up if required to comply with manufacturers requirements.

Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the courtesy van.

Courtesy vans require pre-booking. To book you will be required to pay a deposit of $150.00; that $150.00 will be credited towards your total account.

A daily and/or kilometre rate will be negotiated with you for the use of the van before.

CONDITIONS FOR GEDDES (636-7064) TO PROVIDE A FREE PICK UP & DELIVERY SERVICE:

The following conditions are a guide only and could be changed by arrangement with Geddes.

The minimum value of work required is $150.00;

and

The address for pickup is within 10 kilometres of our workshop;

and

The vehicle is available to be picked up anytime from 7:30 am on;

and

The vehicle can be returned to you by Geddes anytime during the day up to 6pm once payment has been arranged.
